I need to know this type of tree?~?~?~?

I have this image in my head. I know I've seen this tree before but I can't find out what it is. It looks like this: Its got dark, redish/brown bark, It sprouts small white flowers. It's not a japanese maple, I know that. I didn't see it with leaves but it may have them at some point. Please HELP
